Technical German qualification 150 teaching units (UE)
The course includes:
Duration: 27 weeks
Teaching form: Online and Presence (Hybrid)
Lesson scope: 5 units per lesson day
Lesson days: Monday to Friday
Lesson time: 09:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m
Module 1:
150 teaching units Vocational German course
Teaching form: Presence
Lesson time: 09:00 – 13:30 / 5 UE per day
Module 2:
675 teaching units Vocational qualification as a pedagogical assistant
Teaching form: Online and presence (40% online and 60% in presence)
Lesson times: 09:00 – 13:30 / 5 UE per day
Internship:
160 units / 120 hours of internship (20 days á 6 hours)
The job-related German course is carried out exclusively as face-to-face teaching in the training rooms of the educational institution.
Entry requirements
Participation in the measure requires certain technical, linguistic and personal requirements that enable the qualification to be carried out successfully.
Linguistic requirements:
The participants must have knowledge of German at level B1 to B2.
Personal requirements:
It is assumed that the participants are physically and mentally able to take part in the measure and to complete an internship in a pedagogical institution.
Health suitability:
Working in the educational or social area with as well as basic social skills such as teamwork, reliability and communication skills.
Legal requirements:
For participation in the internship, the submission of an extended police certificate of good conduct is required.
Labor market-related requirements: :
The participants are job-seeking and are usually assigned by the employment agency or the job center (SGB II / SGB III).
Subject / content of the Measure
The measure is aimed at participants who would like to complete the basic course for educational assistants, but do not yet have sufficient knowledge of German to safely follow the lessons and to be able to successfully pass the internal exams.
In order to ensure successful participation in the subsequent basic course for educators, the participants receive professional language support with a volume of 300 teaching units (UE) in advance. In this context, in particular Pedagogical terms, conveys typical job communication situations and practice-relevant content.
The focus is on the acquisition of job-related linguistic-communicative skills that are responsible for working in the educational and educational area are required. The participants are specifically focused on typical situations in the everyday educational life prepared, such as B. communication with children, parents and pedagogical specialists, documentation, teamwork and the understanding of legal and organizational framework conditions in day-care centers.

After successfully completing the 300 UE job-related language support, the participants start in the Basic course for educational assistants and have the necessary language requirements for successful participation.
